This Gîte of Andre and Simone Bayol is very well cared for. Within walking distance of Valensole, with a nice village square, cafes and terraces, and all the stores that you need for your groceries. A great place to enjoy the peace and nature in the lavender fields, or as a base for the many attractions in the immediate vicinity.

In the living room, you will find among a comfortable sofa, a dining table with 4 chairs, a dressoir and a TV. The bedroom is a transparent "curtain" separated from the living room. You can find a comfortable double bed and a wardrobe, shelves for shoes and coat hooks. The bathroom has a shower, sink and separated toilet. There is also the necessary bath linen available. The gîte has a large, private terrace that you can use to enjoy the sunshine and to eat outside .

Andre and Simone Bayol are very nice owners of a large villa in Valensole and have a part of it designed as a gîte. The gîte is separated from the rest of the villa, has its own entrance, own private terrace, private parking and a beautiful view of Valensole. The gîte is quiet and free located, far from transit routes and / or busy roads and has been luxuriously furnished in the beginning of 2007. The fact that the owners have been both cook, you can see the layout of the kitchen. Everything is in place for good cooking and enjoying the sunny French vegetables. Andre and Simone will be happy to oblige if you spot information about attractions and fun trips in the area.

Valensole is a town in the French department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur). The place has about 2500 inhabitants and is surrounded by lavender fields. Valensole is an ideal place to enjoy the peace and nature of the Provence. About half a hour drive from the Valensole is the Gorges du Verdon.
