The house Les Lauvières lies on private property Les Lauvières at 1 km from the Provence village of Tavernes and 2 km from the town Barjols. The house is located in the wild on an area of 9 hectares. The area is predominantly wooded and offers maximum privacy. The house has been recently tastefully furnished and is suitable for 4 people.
The house is cool in the summer and delicious warm in the winter. Around the house you will find several terraces, accessible from the living room and kitchen. Tables, chairs, a garden sofa, hammocks and a large parasol at your fingertips. The large pool with a large terrace, pool house and shower can be reached via a forest trail (50 meters). From the swimming pool, you have a magnificent view over the valley. The pool is 30 meters away from the main and 50 metres away from the holiday home. So maximum privacy during swimming or sunbathing is guaranteed.
The house is 20 meters away from the main house which is not rented out. From June 21 to July 26, 2009, the owners are not present and you will have the whole field to you alone. The other times, the owner sometimes are present, a Dutch couple who will give the tenants maximum privacy. The terrace of the "maison d'amis" is separated by green and level difference from the main house. Privacy guaranteed!
Lay-out house: The living area is 85 m2 excluding the terraces. The entrance is in the cozy sitting / dining room with fireplace. The kitchen is spacious and has a door to the terrace in the backyard. You will also find there a cool-freezer, cooker, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle and dishwasher. The washing machine is in the kitchen. There is also a spacious bathroom with tub and shower, toilet, bidet, sink with a mirror and good lighting. A particularly attractive decoration makes your holidays unforgettable.
There are 2 bedrooms with proper beds and mattresses. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two single beds. The house is suitable for a family with 3 children. There are extra (fold up) beds and cots in the cabinets. For infants and toddlers, there are a bed, chair and box.
It is a 5 minute drive from the centre of the town Barjols. In this town you will find next to bakers, butchers and supermarkets also several nice restaurants and cafés. Barjols is a town with a rich history and is well known for its 42 fountains and 4 rivers. The architecture of centuries Barjols is already determined by all this water. Barjols is about 55 miles from Aix en Provence and 30 km from the Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Sainte Croix. The Mediterranean is an hour's drive away. For hikers, there are endlessly beautiful hiking trails, including Grande Randonee 99.
Good to know: washing machine present, deposit: € 300.
Price: per week from Saturday to Saturday except compulsory final clean-up per rental period of € 80 including costs for electricity, gas and water. Linen rental possible for € 6 per person.
