Maison Victoires is a holiday house on a large 10,000m2 area. The house is located 1.5 kilometres away from the Provencal village of Varages. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a nice private pool. A great holiday location if you like peace and privacy. Varages is about 45 km from Aix en Provence and 30 km from the Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Sainte Croix. The Mediterranean is one hour's drive. The house contains a living room with fireplace and dining table, a kitchen, a veranda, a bathroom with bath/shower, a toilet and 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed. Dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave available. Photo gallery There is a simple but lovely 'figure eight' shaped swimming pool (approx.32m2). Varages is a typical Provencal village with around 900 inhabitants. It is known for its pottery fctory and pottery museum. There are 2 bakeries, a butcher, a grocer/greengrocer and a chemist. There are 2 bars, a pizzeria and restaurant 'Le Provence' which is friendly and reasonable. The village has a tennis court that can be rented. While Varages is hardly discovered by tourists, there is a tourist office. Varages is about 45 km from Aix en Provence and 30 km from the Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Sainte Croix. The Mediterranean is one hour's drive. For walkers, there are endless beautiful walks, including "Grande Randonnée 99" (GR99). Price: per week from Saturday to Saturday, except compulsory final cleaning € 80 per rental period, including costs for electricity, gas and water. Deposit € 300 If you book for at least 2 weeks, there is a discount of €50 per week.
