Maison Le Hangar is located on an area of approximately 3800 m2 2 km from the Provencal village of Esparron de Pallières. The house (120 m2 living space) is a renovated hangar of an old train station. The renovation is very beautiful and meticulously executed. Authentic elements are saved. The result is a very comfortable holiday home with charm. The beautifully groomed garden and private pool make it a dream spot. There are 3 very well-kept bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house is suitable for 6 people. Esparron de Pallières is 50-minute drive from the Gorges du Verdon and Lac Sainte Croix lake. The Mediterranean is a good hour drive. The city of Aix and Provence is a 40-minute drive away. For hikers there are endless beautiful hiking trails, including Grande Randonée 99.

Arrangement

On the ground floor of the house you will find a fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, oven, stove, 2 induction plates and 2 gas rings, microwave, fridge, freezer) . Also the living / dining room .The first floor has 3 bedrooms. One with a double bed (1.80 at 2.00) and bathroom ensuite (2 sinks, Italian shower and toilet). A second bedroom with a double bed (1.80 at 2.00) and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (0.90 at 2.00). Also a separate bathroom with Italian shower, washbasin and toilet. 

Next to the living room is a cozy terrace with dining table and sofa. There is also a plancha for baking. Next to the terrace you will find the swimming pool (3.5 at 9.30 meters). Depth of 1.10 to 1.60 m. There is a large well-kept garden where you will find plenty of places to read and enjoy children.Outside you will find a third bathroom with Italian shower.

Available: high speed fiber optic internet, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with reception of French and international channels. 3 bicycles, ping pong table.

Surrounding

The beautiful area is the Haut Var Verdon which is located in Provence. Esparron de Pallières is 50-minute drive from the Gorges du Verdon and Lac Saint Croix Lake. The Mediterranean is a good hour drive. The city of Aix and Provence is a 40-minute drive away. For hikers there are endless beautiful hiking trails, including Grande Randonée 99.

In Varages (7 km) is a delicious bakery and a good butcher. Also a small grocery store. In Rians center (12 km) you will find bakeries, a butcher, a fish shop and the Carrefour supermarket.

Larger supermarkets are located in Saint Maximin de la Baume, about 20/25 minutes drive and in Vinon sur Verdon, also about 20/25 minutes drive. In Saint Maximin de La Baume on a Wednesday morning there is a cozy Provencal market.

Resaturants in the area: The Bergerie in Ginasservis, In Rians Hostellerie de L'Esplanade and La Roquette. In varages, the local restaurant Le Provence.

In Esparron de Pallières itself and in the nearby village of Saint Martin de Pallières you will find a Bistro de Pays. Here, simple but good meals are served. The bistrot in Saint Martin has a large terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding area.
