Villa Bourriquet is a very comfortable holiday home (150 m2), located on a terrain (2700 meters) with a beautiful view, about 2 km from the typical Provencal village of Montmeyan. In the beautiful surroundings of the Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Sainte Croix. A good hour's drive from the Mediterranean Sea. The house has 3  bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a shower next to the pool and is rented to 4/5 people. Your private swimming pool of 10 x 4 meters with the outdoor kitchen next to it makes it a wonderful holiday spot.

Arrangement

In the house a very spacious fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, cooker, Senseo and filter coffee maker, fridge, freezer). There is a piano that can be played by pianists. An attractive covered terrace adjoins the living room. Furthermore, 1 bedroom with two single beds of 0.90 wide that together form a comfortable double bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed (1.60 wide).Also bedroom 3 a double bed ( 1.80 wide). There is a separate bathroom with shower, bath and sink. Also a separate toilet. Next to the swimming pool (10 x 4 meters and 1.50 deep) a nice outdoor kitchen with shower and toilet, sink, gas burner, microwave and gas barbecue. There are houses nearby, but you have complete privacy at your house. Present: TV with reception of Dutch and French channels. Wi-Fi.

Surrounding

Montmeyan is a medieval village built at an altitude of 504 meters. Close to the Verdon gorges (the Gorges du Verdon), the lakes: from Quinson 7 km, from Esparron 16 km from Sainte-Croix 35 km and tourist villages such as Villecroze, Aups, Salernes, Cotignac, Moissac. In the village of Montmeyan you will find a grocery, a bakery and a butcher. Also a restaurant, a pizzeria and a cafe. A larger supermarket can be found in Régusse (10 minutes away by car). In Régusse there is an attractive market on Sunday morning.

The coastal towns of the Mediterranean Sea such as Sainte Maxime, Saint Tropez, Cannes, St. Raphael, Fréjus are about 75 km from Régusse. Adventure seekers can take a dive off the rocks at the Calenques of Cassis. For those who prefer fresh water, there are of course also the beaches along the lake "Lac de Saint Croix" where many different water sports are possible, such as surfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, canoeing and pedal boats.

For sporty hikers and climbers there are beautiful hiking and climbing routes in and around the Gorges du Verdon. The golfer also has many options. There are some very nice golf courses in the area. Nearby (max 30 minutes by car): climbing, swimming, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, water sports, mountain sports. Furthermore, cozy markets in the area in  Aups, Villecroze, Salernes and Cotignac.

In the region you will find olive trees, vineyards and fragrant lavender fields (early July). The wine estates of Entrecasteaux and Villecroze are definitely worth a visit. Chateau de Berne in Lorgues is also recommended.
