Villa Bernard is a comfortable holiday home (140 m2) located on a plot of 2000 m2 in a quiet residential area about 1 km from the Provencal village of La Verdière. The house is located in the parc regional du Verdon in the heart of Provence. This holiday home has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is suitable for 8 people. Your own private swimming pool (9 x 4 meters and heated in the early and late season) makes it a true holiday paradise. La Verdière is 45 km from the city of Aix en Provence and 30 km from the famous Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Sainte Croix. The Mediterranean is an hour away. For walkers there are endless beautiful hiking trails, including GR 99.
Arrangement
On the ground floor you will find a spacious living / dining room with fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, Senseo and filter coffee maker). Television in the living room (French and international channels). Also on the ground floor a bedroom with double bed (1.60 wide) and an ensuite bathroom. Also a separate toilet on the ground floor.
On the first floor you will find 3 bedrooms. 1 bedroom with two single beds of 0.90 wide and 2 bedrooms with a double bed of 1.40 wide. A double bedroom with a bathroom (shower) ensuite. There is also a separate bathroom on the first floor and a separate toilet.
Sliding doors from the living/dining room lead to a partly covered terrace. A little further is the pool of 9 by 4 meters, depth descending from 0.20 to 1.40 m. The shallow part is great for small children or for adults to sit with a book or a glass.
In the garden a boules area.
Present, a gas plancha, a table football game, ping pong table, Wifi, fans in bedrooms.

Surrounding
In the village of La Verdière you will find a bakery, a café, a takeaway pizza, a caterer, a restaurant and a small supermarket. A larger supermarket can be found in Ginasservis (10 minutes drive) or Vinon sur Verdon (20 minutes drive). The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera: Saint Tropez, Cassis or the Luberon are easily accessible for a day trip. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are half an hour's drive from the huis.De area is hilly with olive trees and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with nice dining options (for example in Ginasservis, Aups or Cotignac), beautiful golf courses (Golf de Barbaroux and Golf de Sainte Baume) and walking routes. The Mediterranean is an hour away.
