The entrance to the house is on the ground floor. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin). Adjoining one of the bedrooms is a small room with a sitting area. The ground floor also houses the freezer and the washing machine. On the first floor, you’ll find the living-dining room (with air conditioning), the kitchen, the third bedroom (double bed measuring 1.80 by 2) with a balcony, and the second bathroom (bath, separate shower and washbasin). In the sitting area of the living room, there is a television with access to Dutch-language channels. On this floor, you will also find the kitchen (with a microwave, oven and dishwasher). Doors from the living room and kitchen lead out onto the balcony, where there is a dining table. You also have a fantastic view from here.

The large garden has many lovely (shaded) spots and is a wonderful place to stroll or play. Next to the swimming pool is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. In this covered outdoor kitchen, you’ll find a sink with hot and cold water, a 4-burner hob, a fridge and a plancha. There’s also a dining table here. Next to the swimming pool, you’ll also find an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. In accordance with French law, the swimming pool is secured with an alarm system. However, we do not consider this house suitable for children who cannot swim, as there is a pond in the garden.

It’s a 10-minute walk to the centre of Tavernes, where you’ll find a bakery, a small supermarket, a café and a little restaurant. It’s a 5-minute drive to the charming centre of the town of Barjols. In this town, as well as bakeries, butchers and a supermarket, you’ll also find several lovely restaurants and outdoor cafés. Barjols is a town with a rich history and is known for its 42 fountains and 4 rivers. Barjols’ architecture has been shaped by all this water for centuries. Barjols is situated approximately 55 km from Aix-en-Provence and 30 km from the Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away. For walkers, there are endless beautiful walking routes, including the Grande Randonée 99. Nice restaurants in the area: Tavernes: ‘Le St Cassien’ – at the end of the village towards Draguignan. Barjols: Le Restau – Place du Mairie. Ginasservis: La Bergerie. St Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume: the gourmet Hotel de France Côté Jardin. Cotignac: La Table de la Fontaine. Correns: the gourmet L’Auberge du Parc.
