Maison Cellier

Inside the house, you’ll find a spacious living/dining room with a (new) spacious kitchen. This room is air-conditioned. The kitchen is fully fitted. On either side of the living/dining room, there are patio doors leading out onto a terrace – one on the north side and one on the south side. There are three bedrooms: two with a double bed measuring 1.60 by 2 metres, and one bedroom with three single beds measuring 0.90 by 1.90 metres. There is also a separate, spacious bathroom with an Italian-style shower, a bath and two washbasins. There is also a separate toilet.

The swimming pool measures 4.5 m by 10 m. The depth slopes from 1.20 m to 1.80 m.

Next to the swimming pool, you’ll find a covered area with a lounge set and a 30 m² terrace. There is also a toilet next to the swimming pool.

Facilities: Dishwasher, fridge-freezer, plancha, Wi-Fi, television. Filter and Nespresso coffee machines. Air conditioning in the living/dining room/kitchen. Fans in the bedrooms.

In the village of La Verdière, you’ll find a bakery, a butcher’s, a small supermarket, a restaurant, a takeaway pizzeria and two cafés where you can have lunch. There’s also a takeaway caterer.

Of course, it’s also lovely to go for a swim in Lac de Sainte Croix or Lac Esparron. There are also two tennis courts near the village, which you can use for a small fee.

You’ll find a larger supermarket in Ginasservis (a 10-minute drive) or Régusse (a 20-minute drive).

The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera – Saint-Tropez, Cassis and the Luberon – are easily accessible for a day trip. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are just over half an hour’s drive from the house. The surrounding area is hilly, dotted with olive groves and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with lovely places to eat in Ginasservis, Aups or Cotignac. There are lovely golf courses (Golf de Barbaroux and Golf de Sainte Baume) and walking routes. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away.

La Verdière is situated in the VAR department in Provence. The mild Mediterranean climate and the azure-blue waters make life here very pleasant. The VAR is home to many old Provençal villages with their narrow streets, ancient churches, fountains and picturesque squares. These include Cotignac (the St Tropez of the Haut-Var), Tourtour (the village in the sky), Sillans with its famous waterfall, Villecroze with its tropical park and caves, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie with its pottery, the Valensole plateau with its lavender fields, Thoronet with its medieval abbey, Verignon and its protected oak forest, Les Salles-sur-Verdon – one of the youngest villages in France – and Quinson with its prehistoric museum (the largest in Europe).
