Bastide Le Gourlon

On entering, you’ll find yourself on the floor with the living room, a spacious, fully fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge) and dining room. From the kitchen/dining area, patio doors lead out onto a lovely, spacious terrace.

One floor below, you’ll find two bedrooms and two bathrooms. These two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) open onto a large terrace. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. On the same floor, you’ll also find a separate toilet, a second bathroom (with a shower, washbasin and toilet) and a utility room (washing machine, ironing board, freezer).

If you go up the stairs from the living room, you’ll reach a floor where there’s another sitting area/living room. There’s a comfortable sofa bed here for two people. On this floor, you’ll find the third bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, two washbasins).

The saltwater swimming pool next to the house measures 4 by 10. Next to the pool, you’ll find an outdoor kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, hob, shower and toilet. An electric roller cover over the pool provides good safety for small children. Wi-Fi and a TV with French-language channels are available.

There is air conditioning in the living room and in three bedrooms.

On the grounds there is a beautifully converted cabanon. This cabanon has been converted into a studio for two people. It features a living room, a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a double bed.

The Le Gourlon holiday home comprises half of the entire Bastide. The other half of the Bastide belongs to a different owner who does not live there permanently. Privacy is guaranteed! We are now letting Bastide Le Gourlon for the sixth season. Previous guests have been very enthusiastic.

Cotignac is situated in the heart of Provence at an altitude of 230 metres. It is a lively little town full of character. The weekly market, the many fountains, the charming restaurants and shops, and the central square with its plane trees make this town an ideal holiday destination. The surrounding countryside is hilly, dotted with olive groves and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with lovely places to eat, beautiful golf courses (Golf de Barbaroux and Golf de Sainte Baume) and walking routes. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away. Further afield in the region are the famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix.
