Maison Jacques is a spacious and comfortable house (180 m²) set in 4,000 metres of natural grounds, about 600 metres from the Provençal village of La Verdière in Provence. It’s a 10-minute walk to the bakery.

A spacious, cosy living/dining room with a fully fitted open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, an American-style fridge, an ice cube maker and a Nespresso coffee machine.
1 bedroom with a double bed (1.80 wide), a walk-in wardrobe, a washbasin, a shower and a separate toilet. French doors leading to the terrace.
One bedroom with a double bed (1.60 wide), a shower, washbasin and toilet. This room is suitable for a wheelchair user. The toilet and shower have been adapted for this purpose.
First floor:
1 bedroom with a double bed 1.80 wide, plus a shower and washbasin.

The swimming pool measures 8 x 4 metres and is 1.30 metres deep throughout. It is heated to approximately 26 degrees.

La Verdière is situated 45 km from the town of Aix-en-Provence and 50 km from the famous Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix.
In the village of La Verdière, you’ll find a bakery, a butcher, two cafés, a takeaway pizza place and a small supermarket. Larger supermarkets can be found in Vinon-sur-Verdon and Régusse (a 20-minute drive away).
Nearby are the stunning Sainte Baume and Sainte Victoire mountain ranges. The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera – Saint-Tropez, Cassis and the Luberon – are easily accessible for a day trip. The famous Gorges du Verdon (which offer lovely walking and climbing routes for keen walkers and climbers) and the beautiful Lac de Sainte-Croix are about a 45-minute drive from the house. At the lake, there are water sports such as surfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, canoeing and pedalos. There are also lovely little beaches.
The surrounding countryside is hilly, dotted with olive groves and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with lovely places to eat (for example in Ginasservis, Aups or Cotignac), beautiful golf courses (Golf de Barbaroux and Golf de Sainte Baume) and walking routes.
There are also charming markets in the surrounding area in Aups, Villecroze, Salernes and Cotignac.
