Maison Kurtz
Maison Kurtz is a spacious holiday home (180 m²) set on a 2,000 m² plot, 3 km from the Provençal village of Le Thoronet in the heart of Provence. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people. In Le Thoronet you’ll find a bakery, a butcher’s, a small supermarket, a chemist’s, 2 cafés and a few restaurants. Your own private swimming pool (8.50 m by 5.50 m), the lovely garden and the large covered terrace, amongst other things, make Maison Kurt a true holiday paradise. For children, there is a table tennis table, a trampoline and a playroom. There is air conditioning in the three bedrooms and the living room.
The surrounding area is hilly, dotted with olive groves and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with lovely places to eat, beautiful golf courses and walking routes. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away. Further afield in the region are the famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix. The town of Lorgues is a 10-minute drive away and offers all the amenities you need. The market in Lorgues on Tuesdays is definitely worth a visit. It is an hour’s drive from Nice, Marseille or Toulon airports and a 40-kilometre drive to the beaches of St Maxime, Fréjus or St Tropez. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are a good half-hour’s drive away. Aix-en-Provence is an hour’s drive away.

Rental prices include the cost of air conditioning, bed linen and towels.

Layout
The house features a very spacious living/dining room. There is also a large, fully fitted open-plan kitchen with an island. Adjoining the living room is a large covered terrace with a awning.
Bedrooms:
1 bedroom with a double bed measuring 1.60 by 2 m. There is a TV in this room. The beds can be separated and used as two single beds.

The lovely swimming pool measures 8.50 by 5.50 m. It is 1.50 deep throughout. There are 3 steps leading into the pool. There are 6 sun loungers.
Next to the swimming pool is a covered area with a plancha, a microwave and a sink.
In the games room: an exercise bike, table football, children’s billiards and a drum kit
Outside, there is a table tennis table, a trampoline and children’s football goals.
The house is situated 200 metres from the main road and 6 km from the motorway, making it easy to go on fun day trips. The nearest neighbour’s house is 50 metres away.
The owners live in the ground floor part of the large property. You share the entrance gate with the owner. Beyond that, the path splits off to your house and to the owner’s ground-floor flat. You have plenty of privacy. They are truly two separate living units. It’s just as if you had neighbours. All the photos you see are of the holiday home intended for you as the tenant.

Area
The surroundings are beautiful. Vineyards, wine estates (Château La Martinette is stunning), lovely Provençal markets. The Abbaye du Thoronet is also impressively beautiful. In Le Thoronet itself there are restaurants, and in the charming little town of Lorgues (a 10 km drive away) you’ll find lovely shops, a chemist’s, a doctor’s surgery, a bank, a supermarket, various cosy restaurants and a lively market on Tuesday mornings. There are also many wine estates in the vicinity where you can enjoy wine tastings. The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera are easily accessible. The Mediterranean Sea, with the seaside resorts of Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël, is just 35 km away. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are 40 km away. The town of Aix-en-Provence is an hour’s drive away. The airport and railway station are 50 km away.
