Maison Le Pre

This charming, very spacious house has two storeys, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is ideal for two families.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious dining room and, next to it, a large, light-filled living room (with a television) from which you have a wonderful view of the village. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc.

Adjoining the kitchen is a lovely terrace (with a view). A lovely spot for when it gets very warm at the front of the house in the height of summer. You’ll also find a large hall with a fireplace, a toilet and a utility room with a washing machine on the ground floor.

The four bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the first floor. Three bedrooms have a double bed (1.40 wide) and one bedroom has two single beds (0.80 wide) which can be pushed together to form a double bed. One bathroom has a bath/shower and a washbasin.

The second bathroom has a spacious washbasin and shower and is located next to the master bedroom. A cot is available. 

The house is surrounded by a very large garden. There is also a boules court. The swimming pool is secured with an alarm system, as well as a gate with a fence. Wi-Fi is available.

At the rear of the large house is a small flat (situated much lower down) where an elderly man lives. You won’t be able to see it. The entrance to it is via a separate driveway. The grounds and swimming pool at the house are entirely private, offering you complete privacy.

Varages is a small, typical Provençal village with around 900 inhabitants; it is known for its pottery factory (which also sells its wares) and a pottery museum. Among other things, there are two bakeries, a butcher, a grocer/greengrocer and a chemist’s. There are two pubs, a pizzeria and the restaurant ‘La Provence’, which serves simple, tasty food. The village has a tennis court which can be hired. Varages has yet to be discovered by tourists, though there is a tourist information office.
