Maison Le Puy d'Auberge
Maison Puy d’Auberge is a charming holiday home (135 m²) set on a naturally landscaped plot of 3,200 metres. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can accommodate 6 people. The private swimming pool and outdoor kitchen make it a wonderful place to enjoy all the best that Provence has to offer. The house is situated approximately 2.5 km from the Provençal village of La Verdière. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the village. La Verdière is 45 km from the town of Aix-en-Provence and 30 km from the famous Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away. For walkers, there are endless beautiful walking routes, including the GR 99.
Price: per week from Saturday to Saturday, excluding the compulsory end-of-stay cleaning charge of €110 per rental period, including costs for electricity, gas and water.
Bed linen available to hire for €10 per person.

Layout
You enter the house via a veranda. You’ll then find a large living/dining room with an open-plan, fully fitted kitchen (ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine).
There are four bedrooms: two with a double bed and two with a small double bed. There are two bathrooms: one with a bath and shower, and one with an Italian-style shower.
There are two separate toilets in the house.
On both sides of the house there is a cosy terrace with a dining table.
Surrounding the swimming pool, you’ll find an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and a fireplace, as well as seating areas.
The swimming pool measures 8 x 4 metres and can be covered with an electrically operated roller cover.

The owners of the house are very committed to environmental values. This is reflected in both the house and the grounds. The garden, for example, is naturally landscaped.
Area
In the village of La Verdière, you’ll find a bakery, a butcher’s, a café, a takeaway pizza place and a small supermarket. There’s a larger supermarket in Vinon-sur-Verdon (a 20-minute drive away). The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for water sports, walking and visiting charming Provençal markets.
The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera – Saint-Tropez, Cassis and the Luberon – are easily accessible for a day trip. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte-Croix are just half an hour’s drive from the house.The surrounding countryside is hilly, dotted with olive groves and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with lovely places to eat (for example in Ginasservis, Aups or Cotignac), beautiful golf courses (Golf de Barbaroux and Golf de Sainte Baume) and walking routes. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away.
