Maison Le Thoronet
Maison Le Thoronet is a charming holiday home (140 m² of living space) situated in a quiet residential area in the heart of La Provence Verte, on a fenced-in plot of 4,000 m², a 10-minute drive from the village of Le Thoronet.
This holiday property comprises a main house and an apartment. In total, there are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property can accommodate 8 people. The large private swimming pool (6 by 14 metres) and the beautiful grounds make it a wonderful holiday destination.
In Le Thoronet you’ll find a bakery and a small supermarket
A larger, charming town is Lorgues, which is a 15-minute drive away.
The surrounding area is hilly, dotted with olive groves and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with lovely places to eat, beautiful golf courses and walking routes. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away. Further afield in the region are the famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte-Croix. The town of Lorgues is a 10-minute drive away and offers all the amenities you need. The market in Lorgues on Tuesdays is definitely worth a visit.
It is an hour’s drive from Nice, Marseille or Toulon airports and a 40-kilometre drive to the beaches of St Maxime, Fréjus or St Tropez. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are a good half-hour’s drive away. Aix-en-Provence is an hour’s drive away.

Rental prices exclude cleaning charges of €110 (max. 6 people) and €130 (max. 8 people).

Layout
In the main house, you’ll find two bedrooms, each with a double bed (1.60 by 1.80). Between the two bedrooms is a bathroom with a bath/shower, toilet and two washbasins.
There is also a separate toilet. Furthermore, there is a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle) and a cosy living/dining room with a fireplace and French doors.
Outside, there is a cosy covered terrace with a built-in barbecue. In the lovely garden, you’ll find lovely shaded spots to sit and read a book.
The flat (with an external entrance) has two bedrooms, each with a double bed measuring 1.80 by 2 metres, a separate toilet and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin.
Behind the house is a lovely large swimming pool measuring 6 by 14 metres. The depth slopes from approximately 1 metre to 1.60 metres. The pool is walled.
Facilities include: TV with international channels and BVN, Wi-Fi, barbecue and table tennis table.
Area
The River Argens is just 400 metres from the house, where you can go for a swim or go canoeing.
The surrounding area is beautiful: vineyards, wine estates (Château La Martinette is stunning), and charming Provençal markets. The Abbaye du Thoronet is also impressively beautiful.In Lorgues, you’ll find charming little shops, a chemist’s, a GP’s surgery, a bank, a supermarket, various cosy restaurants and a lively market on Tuesday mornings. There are also plenty of wine estates nearby where you can enjoy wine tastings. The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera are easily accessible. The Mediterranean Sea, with the seaside resorts of Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël, is just 35 km away. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are 40 km away. The town of Aix-en-Provence is an hour’s drive away. The airport and railway station are 50 km away.
