Moun Oustaou
Villa Moun Oustaou has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can accommodate 7 people. The villa (135 m² of living space) is set within an enclosed plot of 2,000 metres. The house is a 10-minute walk from the picturesque village of Pontevès (with lovely walking trails and the beautiful ruins of a castle) and 3 km from the Provençal town of Barjols. It is centrally located in relation to the Gorges du Verdon (45 km), Lac Sainte-Croix (40 km), the Mediterranean Sea and larger towns such as Aix-en-Provence and Draguignan.
Weekly rental price from Saturday 16.00 to Saturday 10.00. Includes the cost of water, electricity and gas. Excludes the cost of final cleaning at €110 and any bed linen hire at €10 per person.
Tourist tax: €2 per day per person (aged 18 and over).

Layout
Ground floor:
At the end of the hall, to the right of the front door, is one spacious bedroom with a double bed (1.40 by 1.90). Adjoining this hall is a bathroom (bath and washbasin) and a separate toilet. Also off this hall is the kitchen, which has a door leading to the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped (gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher). Adjacent to the kitchen is the cosy, spacious living/dining room. From this room, there are French doors leading to the (partially) covered terrace. Behind the living room is a corridor leading to two further bedrooms and a separate toilet with a washbasin. One bedroom has a bunk bed (two beds measuring 0.90 by 2.00) and one bedroom has a single bed measuring 0.90 by 1.90. The washing machine is located in the utility room.
First floor.
Above the living room is a mezzanine. From this mezzanine, you can access an attic room with a double bed (1.40 by 1.90). This bedroom has its own (small) bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin.
There is a lovely (partially) covered terrace for dining or relaxing.
A little further away, slightly lower down the grounds, is the large private swimming pool (10 x 5 metres). The area around the pool is a lovely place to relax and offers a beautiful view. There is a picnic table so you can eat here too. Sun loungers and parasols are provided.
The garden is a lovely place for children to play. You can also relax and read a book in the shade under a tree.
Facilities: television (receiving French and a number of international channels), Wi-Fi, electric barbecue.

Area
The house is situated on a quiet main road running from Barjols to Pontevès.
It’s a 10-minute walk to the épicerie in Pontevès, where you can buy bread, have a cup of coffee and do a spot of shopping. There’s also a lovely castle ruin to visit. What’s more, you can go on some lovely walks with stunning views.
A larger supermarket is 3 km away in Barjols.
It’s a 5-minute drive to the charming centre of the town of Barjols. Here you’ll find a larger supermarket, bakeries, butchers and various lovely restaurants and terraces. Barjols is a town with a rich history and is known for its 42 fountains and 4 rivers. Barjols’ architecture has been shaped by all this water for centuries. Barjols is situated approximately 55 km from Aix-en-Provence and 40 km from the Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour’s drive away. For walkers, there are endless beautiful walking routes, including the Grande Randonée 99. Nice restaurants in the area: Tavernes: ‘Le St Cassien’ – at the end of the village towards Draguignan. Barjols: Le Restau – Place du Mairie. Ginasservis: La Bergerie. St Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume: the gourmet Hotel de France Côté Jardin. Cotignac: La Table de la Fontaine. Correns: the gourmet L’Auberge du Parc.
